With all 15 children enrolled in educational programs from ECD to tertiary, Emmanuel Children’s Home is raising $20,000 to strengthen and expand its skills-building initiatives, and your support will empower Zimbabwe’s most vulnerable children.

Donate nowFounded in 1996 by Rev Envoy David and Margret Ndoda (Salvationists), Emthunzini Wethemba Children’s Home is a welfare registered, faith-based organization dedicated to providing a safe haven for disadvantaged children through shelter, food, education, and psychosocial support services.
We are seeking $9,900 to strengthen our impact through three critical projects: installation of solar energy to power the borehole and provide reliable lighting, establishment of income-generating initiatives such as poultry, vegetable gardening, and an orchard to ensure both food security and sustainability, and renovation of our deteriorating infrastructure to create a safer, more dignified living environment for the children.

As the only organisation providing these services within a five-village radius, ENAI also strengthens families through livelihood support, food security, and advocacy against gender-based violence.

Feed the Babies facilitates the growth and development of babies during their formative years—birth to six years old—by focusing on their nutritional and educational needs. Throughout rural communities in KwaZulu-Natal they provide nutrition support at early childhood development (ECD) centers, train ECD practitioners on best practices and basic management of ECD centers, and offer infrastructure support by renovating existing ECD centers. -

Forever Angels supports orphaned, abandoned, and malnourished babies while focusing on family preservation.Their Family Homes program serve children in Mwanza and provide short-term care in family-style homes until a permanent family is found. They also provide life-saving nutrition to babies in their homes and empower their caregivers to care for their children and to live independently. This program was established as a way to prevent child abandonment and keep orphaned babies at home.

Forward In Faith Children’s Home (FIF)

In partnership with the Department of Social Development, FIF ensures a safe, nurturing environment where children receive shelter, nutritious meals, education, and psychosocial support. This campaign raised $630 to fund two key initiatives: a Fish Farming Project to establish a small-scale fish operation that will enhance daily nutrition for the children while generating sustainable income for the Home; and Critical Renovations to improve living conditions by tiling residential houses and offices, repainting facilities to create a warm, child-friendly atmosphere, and installing kitchen cupboards to support safe and efficient meal preparation.

Since 2015, Fount for Nations has been complementing the efforts of the Government of Malawi in building equal learning opportunities for Malawi’s children living with disabilities in order to ensure no child is left behind. They partner with teachers, parents and caregivers, health workers, and entire communities to provide a holistic experience for children. Programmes include providing teacher and therapist training, early detection of disability, family support, early childhood education, and advocacy on behalf of children with disabilities. -

Gabriella Children Rehabilitation Centre

Gabriella Children Rehabilitation Centre (GCRC) was established to promote empowerment, rehabilitation and community inclusion of children and youth living with disabilities.
Located in Hai District, Kilimanjaro, GCRC provides assessments and intensive therapeutic interventions for children and youth with cognitive and physical disabilities, as well as specialised early childhood education programs. Their therapists and teachers conduct visits in homes and communities to empower families and communities to better understand their roles in supporting people living with disabilities.
