Queen Elizabeth Adventist Children's Home
Zimbabwe
Queen Elizabeth Adventist Children’s Home (QUEACH) successfully closed its Remit Hope fundraising project in November 2025. A registered residential institution established in 1952, it's the oldest orphanage in Bulawayo, Zimbabwe. Founded by the Bulawayo Child Welfare Society and later entrusted to the Seventh-day Adventist Church in 1984, QUEACH has provided a safe and nurturing home for orphans and abandoned children for over 70 years. Through shelter, education, spiritual care, and life-skills development, QUEACH empowers vulnerable children to grow in dignity, hope, and self-reliance. Generations of children have passed through its gates, many becoming thriving adults who contribute back to society. Remit Hope raised $15,112 to support daily care, education, and facility upgrades at the Home, ensuring that every child receives nutritious meals, access to schooling, and a safe environment in which to grow.
