Simukai Child Protection Programme
Simukai Child Protection Programme (Simukai CPP) is a registered Zimbabwean PVO (PVO27/12) dedicated to safeguarding and empowering vulnerable children and young people through protection, education, psychosocial support, and sustainable livelihoods. Over the years, Simukai has established safe shelters and places of safety in Mutare and Chipinge that provide temporary care and protection for children at risk, particularly unaccompanied and separated minors. In response to the current emergency project on the repatriation of children on the move to their countries and areas of origin, Simukai has experienced a significant rise in demand for safe and dignified shelter. To ensure that every child is accommodated with dignity and comfort, there is an urgent need to furnish its places of safety with 25 single beds and the corresponding bedding, as well as 4 gas stoves and 4 gas tanks to support the preparation of meals in the Places of Safety. This campaign seeks to raise USD 10,000 to meet these critical needs, enabling Simukai to continue offering a safe, nurturing, and child-sensitive environment for displaced children while they await family tracing, reunification, and reintegration. Your support will directly contribute to the well-being and protection of children in crisis, ensuring that their basic needs are met with compassion and care.
