Sevaca
Founded in 2000 by Hlengwe-Shangaan women in Sengwe, Chiredzi District, SEVACA (Sengwe Vulnerable Children Advocacy) is a community-based organization working to uplift rural communities affected by drought, poverty, and HIV/AIDS. For over two decades, SEVACA has provided school fees, food aid, and emotional support to orphans and vulnerable children (OVCs), and is now shifting focus toward skills development and sustainable livelihoods as these children transition into adulthood. To support this next phase, SEVACA is launching a $10,500 Chicken Project that will offer hands-on poultry farming training, create a sustainable source of nutrition and income for vulnerable youth and their caregivers, and strengthen community resilience to poverty and food insecurity. Your support will help SEVACA establish a small-scale poultry unit and continue its mission of building dignity, opportunity, and resilience in remote Chiredzi.

Hands of Hope
Donate nowEstablished in 2002, Hands of Hope Trust supports orphans and vulnerable children in residential care and runs a daily feeding programme in Hwange and Binga, which has significantly improved nutrition and reduced school dropouts. To empower youth transitioning out of care, the organisation is launching a $10,000 Sewing and Agriculture Skills Expansion Plan. This initiative provides hands-on sewing training for girls, equipping them with skills to produce garments such as dresses and other clothing items. Upon completing their training, each girl receives a start-up kit including industrial sewing machines and essential materials to help them establish their own small businesses and achieve self-reliance. The Agriculture Skills Start-Up Support component offers practical training in greenhouse farming, poultry production, and small-scale agriculture, alongside start-up inputs and access to land, enabling trained youth to launch sustainable, income-generating ventures.

Forward in Faith Children’s home
Donate nowForward In Faith Children’s Home (FIF) is a registered faith-based organisation dedicated to providing holistic care for orphans and vulnerable children. In partnership with the Department of Social Development, FIF ensures a safe, nurturing environment where children receive shelter, nutritious meals, education, and psychosocial support.
This campaign aims to raise $9,500 to fund two key initiatives: a Fish Farming Project to establish a small-scale fish operation that will enhance daily nutrition for the children while generating sustainable income for the Home; and Critical Renovations to improve living conditions by tiling residential houses and offices, repainting facilities to create a warm, child-friendly atmosphere, and installing kitchen cupboards to support safe and efficient meal preparation.
