Providing a future for Tanzania’s orphans

Malaika Kids provides a positive and safe environment for vulnerable orphans where they can fully develop and grow into responsible, confident adults. Mailaika first welcomes children to their reception home. When a family member cannot be located, the child moves into the Malaika Children’s Village in Mkuranga. The concept of the village is unique and based on a family unit that consists of a maximum of ten children who live together with a mother in a family home. They also support academic opportunities with many of the children going to boarding school, and young adults to vocational schools.
