Rahab Uganda has a specific mission: to restore the self-image of girls and young women affected by sexual exploitation and human trafficking and empower them to proactively engage in personal transformation.
In addition to fighting human trafficking and exploitation, Rahab runs a residential shelter in Kasangati Gayaza that provides holistic services to children and young people between 9 and 18 years who have been victims of trafficking and commercial sexual exploitation.
Rahab also runs a drop-in centre that offers psychosocial support, education, economic skills development, early childhood development, health, and nutrition services.
Since 2005, their outreach programme has reached 15,000 children and has fully served 400 girls.
