Campaign Story
Kasipiti Children’s Home was opened on July the 1st 2013 under the guidance of the Little Children of Our Blessed Lady Sisters (L.C.B.L). Kasipiti is based on the ideas of the deceased Ruth Karlbermatten (the Founder), a Swiss woman who had a passion to help the most impoverished Children in the community. The home is legally registered with Social Welfare SW10/122. When bringing life to her idea of a Children’s Home she envisioned being able to take care of them in a family set-up to bring them up with ideal fundamentals in life. Unfortunately, in all this she fell terribly ill and passed away on May 16, 2014. Kasipiti Children’s home is a home which provides interim shelter, protection and care to children and young persons under the age of 18 who need care. They have 19 children, 6 boys and 13 girls.
