    TOSE Respite Care Centre

TOSE Respite Care Centre is the only facility in Zimbabwe providing 24-hour care for children with severe multiple disabilities. Established in 1992, TOSE supports children who are fully dependent on caregivers for feeding, bathing, toileting, and daily mobility, while also training community caregivers and supporting families with income-generating projects.

The Centre can accommodate up to 50 children, but currently cares for 33, relying almost entirely on donations and small community projects.

This Giving Tuesday, TOSE is raising $10,000 through RemitHope to renovate and restore its Hydrotherapy Pool, a vital facility that helps children with severe disabilities improve mobility, ease stiffness, and experience relief and comfort.

Your support will help restore a lifeline for children with profound disabilities — enabling healing, mobility, dignity, and hope.

  • Village of Hope (VOH) Children’s Home Zimbabwe

Village of Hope (VOH) Children’s Home  is a faith-based organization committed to providing holistic care for vulnerable children, guided by our values of love, dignity, and hope, and driven by our vision “that all children are loved and cared for.” We provide shelter, education, nutrition, healthcare, and discipleship to children in need, empowering them to grow into responsible and independent adults. We are seeking support to invest in environmentally sustainable energy by installing solar power systems in our children’s homes. Specifically, we aim to equip the remaining four homes with 5kva solar systems at a cost of $2,500 each, totaling $10,000. Solar energy will provide a reliable and eco-friendly power source in the face of frequent electricity outages, ensuring children can continue their studies without disruption, homes can maintain a safe and stable environment, and essential services such as lighting and refrigeration can function consistently. This project will not only cut down long-term energy costs but also create a greener and more sustainable future for the children in our care.

    Vimbainesu children’s home

Vimbainesu Children’s Home was founded in the late 1960’s and was officially registered in 1983.Our institution was founded by the late Violet Madzima Chidharara with the main aim to give shelter and protection for the children in the community who where struggling for food and mostly those whom were helpless. As Vimbainesu, we do not turn down a child for the love we have for kids which is why we have a huge family adding to 49 kids. Our main goal is provide love, hope, faith and above all security.

Our institution is currently in need of transportation, and with your help, we will be forever grateful. We have a disadvantage of being in the rural, which means hiring transportation for all our needs will be very expensive. We are mostly left behind on some programs which are beneficial to our kids because we are at disadvantage. We also would love for our kids to learn knew things and see new places because most of them come from places were things like light bulbs do not exist. If we could receive a funding amounting to $9000 we would be content. This would also help us aid in our projects and also fixing our borehole.
